# Make a new vectoys toy and submit it You are a coding agent. Make a new vectoys toy, check it, preview it and send it in as a pull request to https://github.com/vinenastudio/vectoys. We review every toy and list it in the gallery at https://vectoys.com/toys with the author's name. vectoys: https://vectoys.com. Items are 3D devices and toys drawn as plain SVG in React 19. The CLI is `npx @vinena/vectoys-cli`. ## 1. Read the skill Run `npx @vinena/vectoys-cli skill` and follow it. It tells you how a toy is built, what its files are and what the checks look for. ## 2. Pick the toy - The toy is the idea I gave you in my message. If I did not give one, make a spinning top. - Pick a short name in kebab case (lowercase words with dashes), for example `spinning-top`. Below, `` is that name. ## 3. Make it Check and preview need bun. Submit needs bun 1.3.2 or newer and the GitHub CLI (`gh`, signed in). If one is missing, tell me how to install it and stop. Run these in order: npx @vinena/vectoys-cli create # writes a full package in a new folder cd && npm install The next commands run in that folder. Check, preview and submit take `.`, the folder you are in. - Draw the toy in its `src/` folder, as the skill says. - Run `npx @vinena/vectoys-cli check .` and fix what it reports. Run it again until every check passes. - Run `npx @vinena/vectoys-cli preview . --open`. Look at the toy in light and dark mode, and turn it to every angle. Fix what looks wrong, then check again. ## 4. Make it good A good toy: - Is a generic object, with no product, logo or brand name. - Looks right in light and dark mode. - Respects reduced motion. - Works with a keyboard and a screen reader. - Renders on the server. - Stays small, under 96 kilobytes. - Turns when dragged and fills the screen. The create command sets this up. ## 5. Submit it Run `npx @vinena/vectoys-cli submit .`. It runs the check again, then opens a pull request. ## 6. Tell me - Give me the pull request URL. - In one line, say what the toy is and how it moves. - Last, tell me: "Once it is merged, it shows in the gallery at https://vectoys.com/toys with the author name from its item.json. Anyone can add it with `npx @vinena/vectoys-cli add `."
